How to Get to Gorongosa
Gorongosa (town and national park) is normally reached via Beira Airport (BEW) then by road transfer of a few hours, or by chartered flights arranged through tour operators. Overland access from Beira is the most common option.
Beira Airport (BEW): Beira is the nearest major airport for visitors to Gorongosa and Gorongosa National Park. From Beira the road transfer to Gorongosa town/park is commonly about 2-3 hours by car, depending on route and conditions; taxi or arranged transfers are the usual choice.
