Gobabis is normally reached by road from Windhoek after arriving at Hosea Kutako Airport; coaches and private transfers along the B6 are the practical options for the 2.5-3 hour journey. Rail is not a commonly used passenger option for this route.

From Windhoek to Gobabis by road is around 200-220 km and typically takes about 2.5-3 hours by car.
