Access is commonly from the Ogwen Valley near Bethesda. Park at designated car parks around Llyn Idwal or Ogwen Cottage and follow well‑marked paths. Public transport: buses connect from Bangor and nearby towns to the Ogwen area.
Tips for Visiting Gleouraich#
- Start early to avoid the afternoon weather that builds in the Snowdonia high peaks.
- Park at Ogwen Valley car parks (Llyn Idwal area) and use established paths; the terrain can be very exposed near the summit.
