Georgia Dome
Stadium Former Atlanta domed stadium, erstwhile NFL Falcons home
Formerly Atlanta’s main domed stadium, the Georgia Dome hosted NFL games, college bowls and concerts before its demolition in 2017; its role shaped decades of local sporting culture.
The Georgia Dome was a large multi-purpose domed stadium in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, that opened in 1992 and served as a major sports and events venue for more than two decades.
