Bus / Ferry connections: From Banda Aceh, public buses, shared taxis or private transfers take you to the Ulee Lheue ferry terminal. From there take a ferry or speedboat to Balohan port on Pulau Weh; fast boats take about 45-60 minutes and cost roughly IDR 100,000-200,000, while the slower passenger ferry takes longer but can be much cheaper (IDR 15,000-60,000 depending on class).
