Gangō-ji Temple

Gangō-ji Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple complex in Nara Prefecture that dates back to Japan’s early classical period and is one of the city’s historically important temples. It is part of the cluster of monuments that reflect Nara’s standing as Japan’s capital in the 8th century.
