How to Get to Fushë-Arrëz#
Fushë‑Arrëz is a small mountain town in Shkodër County best accessed by road from Tirana or Shkodër. There are no direct scheduled flights or reliable rail links, so expect to travel by bus/minibus or private transfer for the last leg.
Tirana Nënë Tereza International Airport (TIA): Tirana is the main international gateway to northern Albania. From TIA you can take a bus to Shkodër and then a local minibus to Fushë‑Arrëz; total travel time is roughly 3-4 hours and combined fares are around 1,000-1,800 ALL.
Shkodër (by road from airport): There are no regular commercial flights directly into Fushë‑Arrëz; visitors typically arrive in Tirana and continue by bus/car to Shkodër and onwards by regional minibus. Private transfers from Tirana to Fushë‑Arrëz cost more but save time (approx. 10,000-18,000 ALL).
Train: Albania’s rail network is limited and not a practical option for Fushë‑Arrëz. Scheduled passenger rail services do not provide a reliable connection for this route.
