The airport has a primary Terminal 1 which contains check‑in, security, arrivals and the majority of gates, plus a smaller Terminal 2 used by some low‑cost carriers. The terminals are adjacent; ground transfers between them are short but it’s important to confirm which terminal your flight uses as services and check‑in counters differ.

The airport is approximately 11 km from Porto city centre; the metro is a direct link and journey time to central stops is about 25-30 minutes. Options:

• Metro (Line E): direct service between the airport and central Porto (Trindade/Casa da Música); fares are modest.
• Buses: regional buses and shuttles connect the airport with nearby towns.
• Taxis: Available outside arrivals; journey to central Porto typically takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
• Car hire / driving: Rental desks are on site with easy access to motorways.

Terminals offer a wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants airside and landside, as well as duty‑free on international routes. Airline lounges and pay‑per‑use lounges operate for eligible passengers. Free or time‑limited Wi‑Fi and charging points are available in gate areas.
