Santa Genoveva/Goiânia-Santa Genoveva Airport (GYN): Goiânia is the main airport serving Goiás state with regular flights to São Paulo, Brasília and other hubs. From GYN you can take a bus or intercity coach to Formosa via Brasília or direct intercity services; total journey time varies - typically 3-4 hours including transfers - and fares range from around R$60-R$150.
Brasília-Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport (BSB): Brasília is roughly 100-160 km from Formosa (depending on route) and usually offers the quickest air connections. From BSB take an interstate bus to Formosa’s rodoviária (about 1.5-2 hours) - tickets commonly cost R$20-R$60 - or hire a taxi/transfer for ~1-1.5 hours at higher cost (R$150-R$300).
