Farquhar Atoll is a low coral atoll in the Outer Islands of the Republic of Seychelles in the western Indian Ocean. It forms part of the remote southern island groups administered as Outer Islands.
The atoll features a broad lagoon, sand cays and fringing reef that support seabirds, sea turtles and reef fish, making it a destination for wildlife-focused visits and diving expeditions. There are no large settlements on the atoll.
Farquhar has been part of the Seychelles island group since colonial times and has seen small-scale uses such as fishing and occasional plantation or extractive activity, but it has remained sparsely inhabited.
