Etz Hayyim Synagogue is a restored synagogue and Jewish cultural centre in the old town of Chania on the island of Crete, Greece. It functions both as a place of worship and as a repository for documents and memorials relating to Cretan Jewry.

The interior is modest in scale and contains ritual furnishings, archival displays and memorial plaques that document the history of the island’s Jewish community. The site is visited for its religious role and for its educational exhibits on local Jewish history.

The synagogue served the island’s Jewish population historically and fell into disuse and decay in the mid-20th century; it was restored late in the 20th century and reopened as a communal and heritage site. The restoration revived the building’s ritual and cultural functions.
