How to Get to Eluru#

Vijayawada (Gannavaram) Airport (VGA): The closest major airport to Eluru is Vijayawada (Gannavaram). Rajahmundry Airport (RJA): Rajahmundry is farther east (about 100-120 km). A direct taxi from Rajahmundry airport to Eluru takes about 2-2.5 hours and usually costs in the region of ₹2,000-3,500. APSRTC operates intercity buses on the Rajahmundry-Eluru route (cheaper but slower; see Bus paragraph).
Train: Eluru is served by Eluru Railway Station (ELR), on the main East Coast/Vijayawada corridor; many passenger and express trains stop here.
