Edinburgh Airport

The airport is organised as one integrated terminal with departure and arrivals levels; gates are arranged along piers reached from the main concourse. Check‑in, security and baggage reclaim are in the same terminal complex. The tram stop is directly outside the terminal, providing a direct link to the city centre.

Edinburgh city centre is about 12 km from the airport. The Edinburgh Trams service runs between the airport and city centre (St Andrew Square/Princes Street area) with a typical journey time of around 30 minutes-buy tickets at the tram stop machines or via the official app. The Airlink 100 express bus also runs to the city centre (journey ~25-35 minutes). Taxis and ride‑hailing operate from the rank outside arrivals-expect around £20-30 to the city centre depending on time and traffic. Car hire desks are at the terminal.

The terminal has a good selection of cafés, restaurants and duty‑free shopping for international departures, plus convenience stores landside. Wi‑Fi is available (usually free for a limited time). Charging points and family facilities are provided; there are airline lounges including pay‑per‑use and airline‑operated lounges.
