Eden Park is the principal stadium in Auckland, New Zealand, and the country’s largest sports venue, used mainly for rugby union and cricket. The stadium is a frequent host of international fixtures and major domestic finals.

From Auckland CBD it is a short drive (around 4-6 km depending on route) and a brief taxi or bus ride; local roads such as Dominion Road/Kingsland area provide direct access.

• Use the train: Kingsland and Mount Eden stations are the most convenient for match-day access, and arriving by rail avoids the heavy traffic and limited local parking.
• On big events expect road closures and local traffic management; arrive well before kickoff and leave gradually rather than trying to exit immediately to avoid bottlenecks.
• If you want quieter photo opportunities, visit the grounds on a non-event day or arrive very early on match day - the stadium exterior and nearby vantage points are much less crowded before buses and coach tours arrive.
