Djebel Ressas is a mountain in the Ben Arous Governorate on the southern edge of the Tunis metropolitan plain in northeastern Tunisia. Its summit rises to roughly 795 metres above sea level.
Hikers and locals use the mountain for short climbs and for panoramic views over the plain and the Gulf of Tunis; the ridge is a visible landmark from the surrounding lowlands. The slopes have also been used historically for quarrying of stone.
The massif has been quarried and otherwise exploited for its rock resources over time, which has altered some slopes and access routes. The mountain remains a distinct geographic feature in the immediate hinterland of Tunis.
Djebel Ressas sits on the southern outskirts of the greater Tunis area in northeastern Tunisia, within Ben Arous Governorate, overlooking the coastal plain that leads to the Gulf of Tunis.
