How to Get to Dévaványa#
Dévaványa is reached from Budapest or Debrecen by combining national rail to Szolnok with a short regional bus or train leg. Public transport is adequate but timetables can be sparse outside peak hours.
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD): The primary international arrival point for Dévaványa. From Budapest you can take rail or bus toward Szolnok and then local services to Dévaványa; total travel time is roughly 2-3 hours. Airport transfers into Budapest city centre take about 30-45 minutes by bus 100E (≈€2).
Debrecen Airport (DEB): A closer regional airport for eastern Hungary with limited international services; from Debrecen continue by rail/bus via Szolnok to Dévaványa, with travel times varying around 1.5-3 hours depending on connections.
