Design Museum Holon is a museum of design in the city of Holon in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, opened in 2010 and designed by architect and designer Ron Arad. The building is widely noted for its sculptural exterior composed of three ribbon-like metal bands.
Inside are rotating exhibitions of industrial design, applied arts and new media, together with education and outreach programmes aimed at schools and the public. The museum stages temporary international shows as well as displays of Israeli design practice.
The museum was developed as part of Holon’s cultural expansion and serves as a national centre for design-led exhibitions and learning in Israel.
The site is in Holon on the southern edge of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, within easy reach of Tel Aviv and neighboring municipalities.
