Daraw is a town in Aswan Governorate on the Nile, south of Aswan city. The closest airport is Aswan International (ASW); Daraw is also served by Egypt's national rail line and regular intercity buses for regional travel.
Aswan International Airport (ASW): Aswan is the nearest larger airport to Daraw; road transfers take roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic and exact pick‑up point. Luxor International Airport (LXR): Luxor is another option to the north with a longer road transfer (≈3-4 hours) if needed for flight choices.
Train: Daraw has a station on Egypt’s southern rail corridor (Cairo-Aswan line); trains connect Daraw with Aswan, Sohag and other Nile cities. Travel times to Aswan are typically about 1-1.5 hours depending on service.
