Dadar is a densely built urban neighbourhood in Mumbai, Maharashtra, known as a long-established residential, commercial and transport hub in the city. It sits at the meeting of Mumbai’s Central and Western suburban rail corridors and is a focal point for local commerce.
The area contains several notable local attractions and amenities. Major public open space includes Shivaji Park, used for cricket practice, public meetings and recreation; the locality also hosts a large wholesale flower market and busy shopping streets.
