The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam is a late 19th-century concert hall renowned for its exceptional acoustics and for housing the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra; it opened in 1888.
The principal attraction is the large main auditorium, which seats close to 2,000 people and hosts symphony concerts, solo recitals and seasonal programs by the resident orchestra.
