How to Get to Colatina
Colatina is most practically reached by road from Vitória's airport or by intercity bus from regional cities in Espírito Santo. There are no passenger rail services to the town.
Eurico de Aguiar Salles/Vitória (VIX): Vitória is the primary airport for Espírito Santo. From VIX you can travel to Colatina by intercity bus or car; the trip typically takes about 1.5-2.5 hours and bus fares usually run R$20-R$45.
Belo Horizonte/Confins (CNF) or Rio de Janeiro (GIG/SDU): For international or alternate domestic routings travellers sometimes arrive via Confins or Rio and continue by long‑distance coach or car, but Vitória is the closest practical airport for Colatina.
Train: There is no regular passenger rail service serving Colatina; railways in the state are mainly freight lines.
Bus: Colatina’s rodoviária links the city with Vitória, Linhares and other regional centres. Buses from Vitória take around 1.5-2.5 hours and are the normal public transport option for airport arrivals.
