Church of the Flagellation Religious Site

The Church of the Flagellation is a small church in Jerusalem’s Old City traditionally associated with the location where Jesus was flogged before his crucifixion. The site stands on or adjacent to the Via Dolorosa and is part of the sequence of stations commemorating the Passion.
