About China World Trade Center Tower III#
China World Trade Center Tower III is the principal skyscraper in the China World Trade Center complex located in Beijing’s central business district in Chaoyang District. It anchors a mixed-use development that combines offices, hospitality and retail.
The tower is part of a larger podium and mall complex that provides shopping, dining and business services; the complex also contains hotels and conference facilities. The building contributes to the skyline of Beijing’s Guomao business district and is closely integrated with surface transport and subway access.
Built as part of a phased development of the China World Trade Center site, the tower was constructed in the 2000s as the tallest component of the complex and to provide premium office and hotel space serving Beijing’s international business district.
The tower stands in Chaoyang District at the Guomao commercial hub, adjacent to the China World Mall and directly served by Beijing’s urban rail network at the Guomao interchange.
