Chawang is reached by road from Nakhon Si Thammarat (airport NST) or by bus/minivan from the provincial city. Regional buses and minivans are the usual onward transport from nearby hubs.

By Air

Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport (NST): Nakhon Si Thammarat airport is the closest commercial airport; flights from Bangkok land here and the drive to Chawang takes around 1-1.5 hours by car. Taxis and local minivans operate from the airport to district towns.

Surat Thani (URT) / Trang (TST): These airports are further away and generally less convenient for reaching Chawang than Nakhon Si Thammarat; most travellers use NST or travel overland from larger southern hubs.

By Train & Bus
