Chambas (Ciego de Ávila Province) is reached most practically by road from provincial airports (AVI) or from Havana with an overland transfer. Interprovincial buses to Ciego de Ávila plus local transport complete the journey to Chambas.

By Air

Jardines del Rey (Cayo Coco) / Ciego de Ávila area airports: Chambas (Ciego de Ávila Province) is most easily accessed from the provincial airport (Ciego de Ávila ‘Ignacio Agramonte’ - AVI) or from the smaller airports serving tourist keys (Cayo Coco/CCC) depending on connections. For international flights visitors commonly transfer via Havana (HAV) or other larger Cuban airports and continue overland.

Camagüey (CMW) / Santiago de Cuba (SCU): These larger airports are also possible entry points with longer road transfers to Chambas.

By Train & Bus

Train: Cuba’s rail services for passengers are limited and not always reliable for planning travel to small towns like Chambas.
