Cervati Mountain

Monte Cervati is a mountain in Campania, southern Italy, and the highest peak of the Cilento area, rising to roughly 1,900 meters above sea level.

Hikers use trails that lead to the summit for panoramic views across the Cilento landscape and, on clear days, toward the Tyrrhenian Sea. The mountain is characterized by limestone terrain and Mediterranean mountain vegetation and is part of the broader Apennine chain.

The peak has long been a local landmark used by shepherds and for seasonal grazing; it lies within the protected area of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano region. Modern use is primarily recreational rather than industrial or urban.
