The Cathedral of Kars is in central Kars and can be reached on foot from the town centre and the main intercity bus terminal (otogar). Regional buses and dolmuş (shared minibuses) serve Kars from surrounding towns, and local taxis operate throughout the city.

If arriving by air use Kars Harakani Airport and take a taxi or airport transfer into Kars centre; once in the centre the cathedral is a short walk from the main streets.
