The Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor in Santo Domingo is the oldest cathedral in the Americas, begun in 1512. Its Gothic and Renaissance stonework anchors the colonial zone where the Spanish first established Christianity in the New World.

Havana’s baroque cathedral, framed by one of the city’s most beautiful cobbled colonial squares, is famed for its asymmetrical bell towers carved from coral stone studded with marine fossils. Completed in the 1770s, it remains the spiritual and architectural heart of Old Havana.

This distinctive flat-topped massif near Baracoa in eastern Cuba has long held spiritual significance, its perpetually mist-wrapped summit revered in local Taino and folk tradition. The mountain’s dense cloud forest and endemic species make it a place of quiet natural pilgrimage.

Santiago de Cuba’s cathedral, rebuilt several times since the 16th century after earthquakes, presides over the city’s central square. It remains the religious focal point of Cuba’s culturally rich second city, near the revered shrine of El Cobre.
