Cape Town Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Green Point area of Cape Town, built to host matches during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It serves as a venue for football, rugby and large-scale concerts and events.

The stadium features a modern bowl design with tiered seating, hospitality suites and configurable spaces for different event types. Since the World Cup it has been used for domestic and international sports fixtures and entertainment events.

The facility was completed in 2009 ahead of the 2010 tournament and formed part of the city’s Atlantic Seaboard redevelopment linked to the V&A Waterfront. It remains one of Cape Town’s principal large-capacity venues for major public events.

Sited on the foreshore of central Cape Town in Green Point, the stadium lies a short distance from the V&A Waterfront and is easily reached from the city centre and the Atlantic promenade.
