• Driving: The airport is roughly 20-25 km from central Cape Town; expect variable journey times.

The terminal has a full range of passenger amenities: duty‑free shopping, restaurants and cafés, several lounges and passenger services.

• Lounges: Airline and pay‑per‑use lounges are available in both domestic and international areas.
• Wi‑Fi: Public Wi‑Fi is available, often free for limited sessions.
• Charging & workspaces: Power outlets are available in several seating areas and lounges.
• Luggage & accessibility: Baggage services, currency exchange, ATMs and accessibility assistance are provided; request help from your airline if needed.

There are several airport‑area hotels within a short drive of the terminal, and a wider choice in Cape Town city centre (20-30 minutes by car). For short overnight stays look for hotels advertised as being close to Cape Town International or at the airport perimeter.
