Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport (SGN): Cai Lậy (Tiền Giang/Dong Thap area variants) is typically reached via Ho Chi Minh City’s SGN. From SGN take an interprovincial bus or private car to Cai Lậy; travel time is usually 2-3 hours depending on traffic and fares from SGN to Mekong Delta towns commonly range 100,000-250,000 VND by coach.
Other airports: There are no major commercial airports closer than SGN for scheduled services to Cai Lậy - use Ho Chi Minh City as the air hub.
Train: The Mekong Delta has limited conventional rail reach; there is no direct passenger rail service into most Cai Lậy areas. Travelers use road coaches instead.
