Byeonsan-bando National Park is a coastal national park on the Byeonsan Peninsula in North Jeolla Province, South Korea. It protects a mix of rocky coast, sandy beaches and inland forest along the Yellow Sea.
The park’s main attractions are its shoreline and coastal walking routes, together with areas of mixed temperate forest and coastal wetlands. Recreational activities include short coastal hikes, beach visits and seaside viewpoints.
The area was set aside and managed by the South Korean government as a national park to conserve its coastal landscapes and provide public recreation. Over time trail infrastructure and visitor facilities have been developed to support day visitors.
The park lies on the west coast of South Korea in North Jeolla Province, occupying a peninsula that extends into the Yellow Sea. Access is by road from nearby towns and provincial roads that serve the coastline.
