How to Get to Bur Dubai
Bur Dubai is a historic central district of Dubai easily reached from Dubai International (DXB). Use the Dubai Metro (Red Line), taxis or Al Ghubaiba bus hub to arrive and move around the area.
Dubai International Airport (DXB): Bur Dubai is within central Dubai-DXB is only about 10-20 minutes by car from many Bur Dubai addresses. Metro + short taxi rides or direct taxis from arrivals are common; expect a taxi fare of roughly AED 25-45 and a travel time of 15-25 minutes depending on terminal.
Al Maktoum International / Dubai World Central (DWC): DWC is further out (about 45-60 minutes by car); taxis and car hire are the main options and journey times vary with traffic.
Train (Dubai Metro): Bur Dubai is served by nearby Red Line stations such as BurJuman and Al Fahidi. From DXB Terminal 3 take the Red Line (via Airport Terminal 3 station) and transfer as needed; single fares on the metro typically range from AED 3-8 depending on zones and Nol card type, journey times from the airport to Bur Dubai stations are about 15-25 minutes.
