Balkan Bulgarian Airlines was the former national carrier of Bulgaria that operated scheduled domestic and international passenger services from its base at Sofia Airport (SOF). From a traveler’s perspective it is not an active airline and is not available for booking.

Because the airline has ceased operations, current travelers should book with airlines that presently serve Sofia (SOF) or other Bulgarian airports; historical route and product details are not relevant for contemporary travel planning.
