Gwangju/Gimpo/Incheon airports (regional gateways): Buan County has no commercial airport; the nearest major airports are Gimpo (GMP) and Incheon (ICN) for international flights and Gwangju (KWJ) for some domestic/regional connections. From any of these you continue by rail or intercity bus to the west coast and then local bus/taxi into Buan.
