Brewer Fountain is a 19th-century ornamental fountain located at the eastern edge of the Boston Public Garden in downtown Boston. It dates from the late 1800s and is a well-known decorative feature of the park.
Set close to major pedestrian routes, the fountain is a frequent stop on walks through the Public Garden and between Boston Common and the Back Bay. Its sculptural basin and figures are visible from the adjacent paths and provide a photogenic focal point in the landscaped gardens.
The fountain was donated to the city in the 19th century and was cast in France before installation in Boston. It has been preserved as part of the Public Garden landscape and has undergone conservation works to maintain its iron and sculptural elements.
