How to Get to Bogense
Bogense on the island of Funen is best reached via Odense: take a train to Odense then a regional bus to Bogense. For international arrivals use Copenhagen, Billund or Aalborg airports and continue by train and regional bus or rental car.
Aalborg (AAL) / Billund (BLL) / Odense (ODE): Bogense does not have its own airport; the nearest airports with frequent services are Billund and Aalborg (both a 1.5-2.5 hour drive depending on route) and Odense airport for some domestic/regional services. From these airports you can rent a car or take regional trains/buses toward Odense and then a local bus to Bogense.
Copenhagen (CPH): Copenhagen Airport is the major international hub; from Copenhagen you can take a train to Odense (about 1.5 hours) and then regional bus to Bogense (approx. 30-50 minutes), total journey roughly 2.5-3.5 hours depending on connections. Typical costs for train + bus are in the DKK 150-350 range (approx.).
Train: The nearest mainline rail hub is Odense; DSB trains connect Copenhagen and other Danish cities to Odense in about 1-1.5 hours from Copenhagen. From Odense you change to a regional bus to Bogense.
