Airports in Belarus

Belarus has four airports with scheduled commercial service, including two international airports and two domestic airports. Most international travelers arrive via Minsk National Airport (MSQ), the country’s primary gateway and one of the major airports handling high volumes of traffic. It is the usual entry point for travel to Minsk & Central Country, including Minsk, Mir, and Nyasvizh.

Outside the capital region, Brest International Airport (BQT) is the other international airport and matters most for the west, including Brest and the Brest & Southwest Frontier region. Domestic flights are centered on Gomel Airport (GME), serving the East & Gomel Region and the regional center of Gomel, and Mogilev Airport (MVQ), covering travel needs around Mogilev. Even with these domestic airports, overland travel remains a key part of getting around, with the parent guide noting that entry is also possible by rail or bus from neighbouring states.
