How to Get to Beizhen
Beizhen in Liaoning is easiest reached via Jinzhou (JNZ) or by rail from larger hubs like Shenyang. Once in the Jinzhou area, short road transfers (taxi or bus) link you to Beizhen.
Jinzhou Xiaolinghe Airport (JNZ): Jinzhou is the closest commercial airport to Beizhen; road transfer to Beizhen town is typically around 40-60 minutes by taxi or private car. Taxis from JNZ to Beizhen commonly cost in the region of RMB 80-150 depending on time of day and baggage.
Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (SHE): Shenyang is a larger international airport with many more flight options; travel time to Beizhen by road is roughly 2-2.5 hours by car. There are also intercity buses and trains from Shenyang to Jinzhou/Beizhen - expect longer total journey times but more frequent flight choices.
Train: Beizhen (蛟河/北票等地名 can be confusing in Liaoning) is served via the regional rail network through Jinzhou and nearby stations; high-speed and conventional trains run to Jinzhou Railway Station (锦州站) and Jinzhou South. From Jinzhou station a local taxi or bus to Beizhen takes around 40-60 minutes and costs modestly (RMB tens).
Bus: Regular intercity buses connect Jinzhou and Shenyang with Beizhen from the Jinzhou long-distance bus station. Buses are frequent and economical; travel times are around 1 hour from Jinzhou and 2-3 hours from Shenyang depending on service and route, with fares commonly in the range of RMB 15-80.
How to Get Around Beizhen #
Beizhen’s central area is walkable for short trips, with main attractions and shops clustered together. Local buses and shared minibuses connect to nearby county towns; taxis are available but less common than in larger cities.
