How to Get to Batang Rejang #
“Batang Rejang” refers to the Rejang (Rajang) River in Sarawak. The main access point for river travel is the town of Sibu, which lies on the Rajang River and is served by Sibu Airport (flights from Kuching and other domestic points) and by road connections. From Sibu, long‑boat and ferry services run upriver to settlements along the Rajang; local wharves in Sibu provide boarding points for river transport.
If you are travelling from Kuching, you can fly to Sibu (about an hour) and then transfer to river services or road transport depending on your final destination along the Rajang.

The best time is during the drier months (roughly March-September) when river travel and outdoor access are easier.
