Bardejov Town Conservation Reserve

Bardejov Town Conservation Reserve is a protected historic centre in northeastern Slovakia that conserves a largely intact medieval town core noted for its urban layout and historic buildings. The reserve protects civic, religious and defensive structures from the medieval and early modern periods.

Bardejov developed in the medieval period as a regional market and administrative centre; its architecture and urban fabric reflect growth during the late Middle Ages and subsequent centuries with preservation of civic and ecclesiastical structures.

The conservation reserve is located in the Prešov Region of northeastern Slovakia, within the town of Bardejov, and is accessible from regional roads connecting to larger Slovak cities.
