Bang Lang National Park is a protected area in Yala province in southern Thailand. The park encompasses terrestrial forested areas together with the Bang Lang Reservoir created by a dam on a local river.

The reservoir is the parks dominant feature and concentrates recreational uses such as shoreline viewing and boat access; surrounding land consists of typical southern Thai forest and hilly terrain. Visitor facilities and access are generally oriented around the reservoir and its immediate shoreline rather than extensive developed trails.

The reservoir exists because of the Bang Lang Dam; the park protects adjacent forested slopes and watershed. Over time the site has been managed to balance the reservoirs water-management role with conservation of the surrounding natural areas.

  • Reservoir focus: Contains a large dam reservoir that is the parks main landmark and draws most visitor activity to the water and shoreline.
