From Laguindingan you can reach coastal towns by bus/van to Balingoan port - the drive to Balingoan is roughly 2-3 hours depending on service and traffic; shuttle vans and buses operate between Cagayan de Oro and Balingoan.

Butuan / Bancasi Airport (BXU): Butuan is another regional airport (east of Balingoan). From Butuan there are overland bus or van options to coastal towns; travel times are longer and schedules can be limited.
