How to Get to Axim
Takoradi Airport (TKD): Takoradi is the closest commercial airport serving Ghana’s Western Region; from Takoradi you continue by road to Axim by intercity bus or shared taxi along the coastal road.
Kotoka International Airport (ACC): Ghana’s main international gateway in Accra is used by most international visitors; from Accra take a long-distance bus or coach to Takoradi and then continue to Axim by local transport.
Train: Ghana’s coastal train services are limited and not a primary option for Axim.
