The Auditorio de Tenerife is a concert hall and cultural building on the seafront of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2003. It is known for its dramatic, curving white concrete roof and sculptural silhouette.

The main auditorium and supporting performance spaces stage orchestral concerts, contemporary music and cultural events; the sweeping exterior form and sloped terraces are major photographic draws. The building sits on a coastal plaza and is highly visible from the waterfront and nearby promenades.

Designed by Santiago Calatrava, the auditorium was completed and inaugurated in 2003 as a landmark cultural venue for Tenerife and the Canary Islands, intended to host a wide range of performing arts and civic events.

The auditorium stands on the seafront of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and is accessible on foot from the city center and harbour area, forming a focal point on the island capital’s waterfront.

Auditorio de Tenerife is on the waterfront of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. From Santa Cruz city centre it is a short taxi ride or local bus (TITSA) trip to the auditorium and adjacent seafront; there are nearby streets and short walking routes from central Santa Cruz. If arriving on the island use the Tenerife North (Los Rodeos) airport for the shortest road transfer to Santa Cruz; arrivals at Tenerife South (Reina Sofía) require a longer drive across the island on the main TF highways to reach Santa Cruz.

• View or photograph the auditorio from the seafront promenade at golden hour-its curving silhouette is most dramatic from the coastal walkway to the north and northwest of the building.
• If you want to see the interior, join an official guided tour or book a concert; the best chance to appreciate Calatrava's interior spaces is during a performance when the auditorium is in use.
• Buy tickets in advance for popular performances at the box office or online and arrive early to explore the exterior plazas and get unobstructed photos before crowds gather.
