Artik (Shirak Province) is best reached via Shirak Airport (Gyumri) for a short road transfer, or from Yerevan by regional marshrutka/bus. Passenger rail options are limited and buses/marshrutkas are the practical public‑transport choice.
Shirak / Gyumri (LWN): Shirak Airport (near Gyumri) is the closest airport to Artik (approx 30-40 km). From LWN you can take a taxi to Artik (around 30-45 minutes; fares typically AMD 4,000-10,000 depending on vehicle and negotiation).
Yerevan (EVN / ZVARTNOTS): Zvartnots International (EVN) near Yerevan is the main international gateway. From Yerevan you can travel by marshrutka (minibus), bus or taxi to Artik; journeys typically take 3-4 hours by road and fares vary (marshrutka fares are low, taxis significantly more expensive).
