How to Get to Argaka#
Argaka on the Paphos coast is easiest to reach from Paphos Airport. Public buses link Paphos with Polis and stop near Argaka; taxis or rental cars are the most convenient for direct access and exploring the surrounding area.
Paphos International (PFO): Paphos Airport is the closest international airport to Argaka (roughly 30-40 minutes’ drive). From Paphos you can take a taxi (about 30-40 minutes) or a combination of bus services; taxis are the quickest door-to-door option.
Larnaca International (LCA): Larnaca is further away (about 1.5-2 hours by road) and less convenient for Argaka unless you have a specific routing reason to arrive there first.
Train: Cyprus has no rail network.
Bus: Intercity buses connect Paphos with Polis Chrysochous and pass close to Argaka (check the Paphos-Polis route timetable). Bus journeys are affordable and take around 40-60 minutes from Paphos depending on stops; service frequency is lower in the off-season and on weekends.
