How to Get to Andros Town
Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS): Nassau is the main international gateway; to reach Andros Town most visitors take a scheduled domestic flight from NAS to Andros (Fresh Creek/Andros Town) or use private charters.
Andros Town / Fresh Creek (regional airport): Andros Town (Fresh Creek) has a small regional airstrip serving domestic flights. From the airstrip a short taxi or pre-arranged transfer will take you into town; ground transfers are usually quick and inexpensive but frequency depends on connections. Domestic flight times from Nassau are typically 20-40 minutes and fares vary by carrier.
Train: There is no rail service on Andros.
Bus / Local Shuttle: Andros relies on taxis, private transfers and rental vehicles; there is no island-wide bus network. Road conditions can be variable outside main settlements - a 4x4 is useful for remote exploration. Arrange transfers in advance, especially for early/late flights.
