The Amazon Theatre (Teatro Amazonas) is an ornate opera house in downtown Manaus built during the late-19th-century rubber boom and serves as a major cultural landmark. Its richly decorated interiors and distinctive dome make it a principal historic attraction in the city.

Inside the theatre visitors can see an elegant horseshoe-shaped auditorium, gilded foyers and decorative details reflecting European influences of the period.
