Alsunga is a small town in Kuldīga district best reached by car or intercity bus from Rīga or Liepāja. Latvia's rail network does not serve the village, so road transport is the practical choice for most visitors.

By Air

Rīga International Airport (RIX): The main international airport for Latvia. From Rīga to Alsunga by car or bus is about 2.5-3.5 hours (roughly 200-220 km); private transfers or car hire are the usual options. Typical intercity bus fares from Rīga to Kuldīga are around €7-15.
